...I'm one very messy crafter. You can't even imagine what my worktop looks like whenever I'm making something even slightly more complicated than a simple donut!

ps. The donut is handmade out of polymer clay; keychain is bought.

A friend asked me to make a Homer Donut for her, but I'm afraid that the "metal needle" would fall or loose (sp?), like on all my other figures, even if I TLS and super glue it =/

Any advice, please?

I've never had such a problem so I'm not sure. All I can suggest you is to make sure that the clay is soft when you insert the hook, and if this doesn't work, you can try to glue it back with some epoxy glue, wich is the strongest. You might also use headpins instead of simple hooks, or shape the hook in a semi-oval shape. Check out #semi-sweeties, there's a lot of posting on this subject in the Help Corner!

I always insert the hook when it's still soft and still tries to escape xD
