(In other words: eat lots of real cookies. That's the secret to achieve good miniatures
I use Dovecraft's chalks. They're originally intended for scrapbooking, and are sold in sets - they look like eyeshadows palettes
But I'm positive any kind of chalk can do it! I just use these ones since I sell them and I got them handy
